Kathmandu — Helped by two goals from Raphinha, Barcelona defeated Osasuna 2–0 on Saturday in Spain’s La Liga and extended their lead at the top of the table to seven points.

The Brazilian winger scored in the 70th and 86th minutes. With this win, Barcelona now have 43 points from 17 matches. Real Madrid, who have played one match less, are on 36 points.

In another match, Atletico Madrid beat Valencia 2–1 and are in fourth place with 34 points.

Espanyol defeated Getafe 1–0, while Real Mallorca beat Elche 3–1. Espanyol are also in fourth place with 30 points.
