During the program organized by Looniba Child Concern Group on Thursday, stakeholders stated that although efforts are being made to bring school-age children within the reach of education, the expected improvements have not yet been achieved. The program highlighted that a lack of coordination among schools, teachers, parents, and local government is a major issue.
Dharma Singh Air, program coordinator of Looniba Dadeldhura, stated that the main objective of the organization is to bring children who are out of school back into the education system. According to him, the program is being carried out in collaboration with 23 community schools in Wards 4 and 5 of Bhageshwar Rural Municipality and Wards 1 and 2 of Navdurga Rural Municipality.
